Mumbai blasts - Dutiya

I am impressed with the national news media. Their neutrality and their unrelenting focus on showing how Muslim groups helped the victims of the Mumbai blasts - Dutiya, pointing out that many victims were Muslims and Javed Akhtar is also a Muslim helped in keeping Mumbai communal calm.

I also made a small speech which praised the resilience and courage of everybody who was impacted by Mumbai Blast Dutiya. I have special sympathy for Ritesh Deshmukh’s father, as folks will now go after his job.

President Musharraf has decided that after Mumbai Blast Dutiya, during his next visit, he will travel by local trains in Mumbai as a confidence building measure (CBM)

Since I am spineless Sardarji Prime Minister who knows economics I will not do much now. I will huddle together with my cabinet colleagues and issue another statement tomorrow.

For a change, why don't you stop making funny statements like, "We salute the spirit of Mumbai" and "We condemn these attacks" and do something concrete to rebuild the faith in people that the country is in safe hands?

It's like, "desh no naath thai ne praja ne na bachavi shake e kevo raja?" (that's in gujarati - meaning : being the ruler of the country, you cannot save the people, then what kind of king are you?)

MMS needs to prove that he is not a puppet and a real leader.

Wish Indira Gandhi was alive.
