The International Kite Festival kicks off in Ahmedabad at the Sabarmati River Front. For a change, the Sabarmati River has water in it. I have always been criticized for bringing the festivals of Gujarat in the limelight. I do not understand why!
If Spain can spend so much on a Tomato Fight, which is nothing but wastage of food, why can't we spread the awareness about the longest dance festival in the World - Navratri and the Kite flying festival?
