Out of the ICU

I have been moved from the ICU to a room with a view. This has broadened my imagination. It is actually running rampant. I noticed that Rahulbaba is visiting Gujarat to woo youths in the state to join our party. One good way to defeat BJP in Gujarat is to have Rahulbaba marry a gujju chick from Amdavad. What a thought! I think I should visit the ICU and check what they had been injecting me there.

Parsi, Kashmiri Pandit and Italian parentage. How about finding him a girl from Amethi!

The Pakistan government in 1969 commissioned Khaliq Ibrahim to make a documentary on Mirza Ghalib. The movie was completed in 1971-2, and is regarded as a masterpiece. It is said, that the movie, a docudrama, was historically more correct than what the official Pakistan government point of view was. Thus, it was never released. Till this date, barring a few private viewing, the movie is lying with the Department of Films and Publication, Government of Pakistan. The movie was made on 16 mm format. Ghalib's role was played by actor Subhani Bayunus, who later played this role in many TV productions.

Reading Wikipedia is also stressful for a recuperating Prime Minister. It has so much of relevant information on Galibh. I think I switch to stuff by RD and Javedsaheb

In 1985, Sagar was the name of the movie. Javedsaheb wrote the lyrics and RD composed.

O Maariyaa, O Maariyaa, O Maariyaa O Ho O
O Maariyaa, O Maariyaa, O Maariyaa Ho Ho Ho Ho
Jonny Jab Bolaa Thaa Tujhase Shaadii Karegii Mujhase
Kaise Kahaa Thaa Ye Bataa
O Maariyaa, O Maariyaa ...

This is the kind of stuff which is good for the heart!

Clear road for Rahulbaba

The view from the room is not so good. But in India, most of the hospitals and hotels look on to some slum or the other. I cannot complain about this, neither can you about Slumdog Millionaire.

I missed the Republic day parade. It is rather sad. My open heart surgery is likely to adversely hit my candidature as the PM after the next election. I am an old unwell man. But the same question will be asked about Advaniji. Will this clear the way for Rahulbaba?

Sri Ram Sena is all over the news networks. After watching NDTV reruns of these Ram sainiks beating up young girls I requested my doctor to give me anesthesia again.

Shri Ram Sena...they should have dressed the part too!

How does the media get invited to these events? CBI should start a news service so that they are invited to these mega events.

Three Blocks

I have named the three blocks in my arteries. Maya, Advani and Karat. Nothing really to worry about. I am a common man. I am like rest of India...unfit.

Would Slumdog have got a mention anywhere if it was not made by a white man?

You may be blind if you believe that there is no racism after Obama won the election!

United Jehad Council

Kashmir Observer reports that the United Jehad Council has strongly rejected my stand on Kashmir in a letter from me to the British prime minister. It seems I have written to Gordon Brown "that Kashmir was an integral part of India". Really? Do I have to write a letter to Gordon about this.

David Miliband also supports the stand by United Jehad Council. He will be a consultant to Hurriyatt conference in Kashmir after he looses the next election.

Rahulbaba has to be careful as to whose tour guide he becomes

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

While Obama was being sworn as the President of USA, I was at AIIMS getting my heart checked out. The nation need not worry about my health. They have the economy to worry about. The economy will reach zero growth in the next quarter and we will need an Obama type inauguration to bring cheer to the middle class. We can start preparing for such an inauguration along with the preparation for Commonwealth games. They cost almost the same.

I am going on a three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia. I accepted an invitation extended by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.

Some others also teach kids to protect some holy sites.

Sikh or Indian?

Did you know that Obama picked? Sanjay Gupta as US surgeon general? Really nice of him to have a desi doctor in his team.

At Stockton’s Sikh Temple on Friday morning, State Sen. Leland Yee, a San Francisco Democrat, asked whether members of the faith identify themselves more as Indians or as Sikhs. Would you like to answer?

I really do not have anything to say about Sanjay Dutt. Really nothing. I have not even seen Mother India....

1957...the foundation of Sanjay joining Amar Singh. Amar Singh's ancestors are not in this picture. They were money lenders in those days!

License renewed

Today, I visited the RTO to get my driving license renewed. Made me feel like a common man. Have people stopped eating pan in the RTO office or is it the authorities did not want me to feel like a common man.

According to a poll of 226 senior business executives across the country by Hindustan Times-Cfore I am still the most prefered PM. Unlike Narendrbhai, I do not have to win elections. I get nominated into the Rajya Sabha and then get selected by Soniaji. Traditionally all those who win elections are not intellectuals like me and do not have traits to be a globally acceptable representative of the nation.

Manual for Integrated District Planning

I have been busy. I released the "Manual for Integrated District Planning" today. I was at the national conference of chairpersons of District Planning Committees. I am blogging about this as most of my readers are soooo urban that they do not know that there are district planning committees and that they too have a chairman!

The guys from UP wanted a special section on planning collections for birthday bashes and installing super large statues of living chief ministers in the manual. They also wanted at least three streets to be renamed in each city after Ambedkar, Kanshi Ram and Mayawati. Amazing chaps Maya memsahib has working for her. I thought Congress had the best chamchas in the country.

We sent a farewell gift to Bush. We owe this man a lot for nuclear charging the Indo-US relationship.

The bull goes for his bush!

Prime Minister Raila Odinga

Pranab Mukherjee and Arjun Singh backing Rahul Gandhi as PM. Anil Ambani, Ratan Tata and Sunil Mittal are backing Narendrabhai as PM. Sanjay Dutt seems to be backing Amar Singh. Karat is backing Mayawati....Soniaji is backing me.

By the way, did you know that Prime Minister Raila Odinga of Kenya was the Chief Guest at Vibrant Gujarat? According to Kenya Broadcasting Corporation I and Narendrabhai jointly invited him. Really? That was nice gusture from my side. Now a days we have to take Kenyans very seriously. Obhama was gentically engineered in that country.

Prime Minister Raila Odinga is ready for his new role as the leader from the land of Obhama!

‘Vibrant Gujarat’ a myth

‘Vibrant Gujarat" cannot be a reality. Rs 12,00,000 cr of investment promises in two-days cannot be a reality! Is PWC auditing this?

Representatives from over 40 countries also took part in Vibrant Gujarat. Japan was the partner for this year's summit. Modi is likely to get a visa to Japan.

What! They want Narendrabhai as the PM?

Sir, please move. Even Anilbhai does not want you!

The third pole

Rahul is our future reports PTI. Prithviraj Chavan. says Rahul is the "third pole" of the our party after Prime Minister (i.e. me) and Soniaji.

The three poles. One white, one coloured (like Obama) and a Sardar...Kya pole hai!

With the other poles like Amar Singhji we are shaping up!

Narco Analysis

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani are surprised that we could compile an dossier of evidence without requesting them to submit to a brain mapping and narco analysis test. Well, if I handed over this case to CBI they would have requested this. Imagine Zardari blabbering in a room at NIMHANS about how he used to collect 10% and insisting that Taj is not in Mumbai.

I like reading speeches to my Chief Ministers. Today I had one more opportunity. I enjoyed reading the speech. I made two or three reading mistakes. Other than rigorously shaking my head twice to correct these, my speech was encouraging and empowering all on the stage and NDTV. I had all the Chief Ministers hopping on their seats shouting "Bharat Mata ki Jai"

Things have come a long way since we could take a nap. "Jagte Raho!"

Maria on my side!

India and Spain on Monday set up a joint anti- terror mechanism during the visit of Spanish Deputy Prime Minister Maria Teresa Fernandez de la Vega. We also shared the irrefutable evidence of the Pakistani involvement in the Mumbai terror attack. We need countries like Mongolia, Peru, Nicaragua, Spain, Zambia and Ghana on our side to fight terror in South East Asia.

This Maria is on my side! Viva l'Espana !
